For country coalitions to effectively take on vested interests and weak governance capacity to tackle the climate crisis, they Must saal (Black Hall) have access to information on climate policies and their implementation, be able to participate effectively in policy development and implementation and hold private public actors to account. Through an open discussion, this session showcases where OGP forums and other country MSFs have cultivated lasting coalitions of open government and climate groups to take on the climate governance challenge.
